Image Resizer — Free Online, Pixel-Perfect, No Upload
Smaller. Cleaner. Same image.
Try it now ↓
Runs entirely in your browser. Your files never upload to a server.
What it does
Resize to any pixel dimension or percentage. Browser-based, no upload, no watermark, no size limits except your own RAM. For shrinking phone photos for email, scaling a screenshot for a doc, exporting at multiple sizes for a responsive image set. For upscaling (making images BIGGER with detail), use the AI Upscaler instead — naive resize just blurs.
How it works
Drop your image
Any format, any size. Browser reads it locally.
Set target dimensions
Specify width, height, or a percentage scale. Locked aspect ratio by default; unlock to skew freely.
Export resized
Download as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Quality slider for the JPG path; lossless for PNG.
Image Resizer — FAQ
Upload anywhere?
No. Browser-based via Canvas. Your file stays on your device.
Quality loss?
Downsampling: no perceptible loss. Upsampling: yes, naive resize blurs. For real detail-preserving upscaling use the AI Upscaler tool.
Batch resize?
Multiple files works, but sequential. Big batches of huge files (100+ × 10MB) drag in-browser — for that scale use ImageMagick CLI.
Output format — JPG, PNG, or WebP?
JPG for photos with no transparency (smallest). PNG when you need transparency or hard-edged text/graphics. WebP when you control the destination — smallest size + good quality.
EXIF metadata?
Stripped by default for privacy. Toggle to keep camera-data, location, etc.
